ART, CULTURE AND TOURISM CENTERS OF LANZAROTE

The Centers of Art, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo de Lanzarote stand as the main tourist reference of the Island.

In January 2005, the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers began to be managed through a Local Public Business Entity (EPEL), which is fully participated by the Cabildo de Lanzarote. The EPEL-CACT, the Tourist Board and the Interior Tourism Office are the three public bodies that manage tourism in Lanzarote. With a fully public nature, but with a business philosophy in its management, the Tourist Centers are configured as the first economic engine of the island, allocating a large part of their profits to social work on the island.
