How to move?
Lanzarote is an island with incredible attractions despite its content size. From end to end (from Playa Blanca in the extreme south to Orzola in the northernmost point) there is barely 75 kilometers of distance with roads in good condition (although mainly one-lane roads in each direction) and the cost of car rental Thanks to its enormous competition and supply, it is quite inexpensive. In addition, although there is the option of moving by guagua (buses), they do not go everywhere or offer the freedom of a rental car. Especially considering that the savings are not excessively large either.
Among the main attractions of Lanzarote we will find, both some perfectly communicated by public transport, and others that we can only reach by private car or taxi. We are talking about some beaches like Papagayo or the Timanfaya National Park itself, or even remote spots like Jameos del Agua or remote towns like El Golfo or Charco Verde. Without a doubt, to explore Lanzarote with complete peace of mind and freedom we must bet on the rental car. In addition, its price, although it will depend on the type of car, the company and the demand for that specific date, is very economical if we compare it with other regions or cities in Spain or Europe, being able to rent a car for a week for just 20 or 25 euros a day.
